Job Description

  • Participate in financial underwriting and develop complex models for acquisitions, developments, refinancing, and portfolio analysis
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, including cash flows, financing structures, tax credits, investor returns, and affordability programs
  • Support transaction execution, due diligence, investment committee presentations, and strategic decision making
  • Monitor portfolio performance, create forecasts and reporting tools, and identify opportunities for value creation
  • Manage and mentor analysts, establish modelling standards, and drive continuous improvement in underwriting and reporting processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Develop Planning Manager should have:

  • Strong experience with financial modelling and data analysis
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel and financial modelling software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in affordable housing, knowledge of LIHTC experience required
