They are committed to operational excellence and fostering a results-driven environment.Job DescriptionWe are partnering with a growing, privately held real estate investment and operating platform to appoint a Director of Accounting. This is a high-impact leadership role offering broad oversight across corporate accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance in an entrepreneurial environment. The Director of Accounting will report directly to senior leadership and oversee all accounting operations across the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. Main duties:Lead day-to-day accounting operations for the corporate entity, subsidiaries, and joint venture investmentsOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and review financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reportingManage external relationships including auditors, tax advisors, and other professional service providersEstablish and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support business growthPartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash management activitiesDrive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalabilityMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
