Job Description

The Director of Acquisitions will report to senior executive leadership and serve as the primary market representative for acquisitions activity. This role offers significant autonomy and visibility, with responsibility for driving deal flow, evaluating opportunities, and executing transactions from inception through closing.

  • Develop and execute a market-specific acquisition strategy aligned with portfolio growth objectives
  • Source, evaluate, and secure on-market and off-market industrial investment opportunities
  • Establish and maintain influential relationships with brokers, owners, developers, and industry stakeholders
  • Lead financial analysis, underwriting, and investment modelling for prospective acquisitions
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to executive decision-makers
  • Negotiate letters of intent, purchase agreements, and transaction-related documentation
  • Oversee due diligence, transaction execution, and seamless handover to operational teams following acquisition

The Successful Applicant

For the Director of Acquisitions we are seeking:

  • Proven experience acquiring industrial real estate assets within a regional or national market
  • Demonstrated success generating transaction volume through personal networks and business development efforts
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, investment analysis, return metrics, and capital structures
  • Deep understanding of industrial real estate fundamentals and market dynamics
  • Experience managing complex transactions from sourcing through closing
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while influencing cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • Professional designations such as CCIM, SIOR, or similar credentials are advantageous
