This leadership role will be responsible for mentoring Project Managers, supporting strategic project execution, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects throughout their portfolio.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to final completion.
  • Lead and direct construction teams, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to address challenges.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and milestones.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure seamless project execution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Construction should have:

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams and projects.
  • Experience with construction management processes, including budgeting and scheduling.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
