The company's dedication to its employees and its community further solidifies its standing as an employer of choice in the region.Joining this team means becoming part of a respected company with a rich history, a commitment to excellence, and a culture that prioritizes both professional success and personal well-being.Job DescriptionThe Director of Construction will:Project Oversight: Lead construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.Strategic Planning: Develop construction strategies, standards, processes, and long-term plans aligned with organizational goals.Budget & Cost Control: Establish budgets, monitor expenditures, approve major costs, and manage forecasts, change orders, and cost-saving initiatives.Schedule Management: Oversee project schedules, identify critical-path risks, and drive timely completion.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, superintendents, engineers, and other construction personnel.Contractor Management: Select, negotiate with, and oversee general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.Quality Control: Establish quality standards and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.Safety Management: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable safety requirementsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
