Job Description



Responsibilities:

  • Own electrical architecture, design, and verification for next‑generation medical device platforms
  • Lead internal and external engineering teams across new product development, sustaining engineering, and obsolescence management
  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership in circuit design, prototyping, and system‑level integration
  • Establish electrical design requirements, specifications, and development standards
  • Lead formal design reviews, DFMEA activities, and documentation packages (schematics, layouts, Gerbers, release files)
  • Define and execute verification and validation strategies using internal and external test resources
  • Develop manufacturing test strategies, fixtures, and process controls
  • Partner with contract manufacturers and suppliers for PCBA production and component sourcing
  • Investigate field issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage departmental goals, project planning, budgeting, and staffing plans
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Operations

The Successful Applicant



Ideal Candidate:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of electrical design experience within regulated medical device environments
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience managing senior‑level teams
  • Strong experience with Class II or Class III medical devices
  • Proven track record across the full product development lifecycle
  • Deep technical background in analog/digital design, embedded systems, power electronics, and electromechanical systems
  • Experience with Altium and/or Cadence PCB design tools strongly preferred
  • Strong project management, communication, and executive‑level collaboration skills
