Job Description

In this role you will report directly into the North American Vice President and will:

  • Leading the global operations, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and quality functions to maximize profitability and operational performance.
  • Directly managing six operational leaders, including two Plant Managers, a Senior Manager of Logistics, a Supply Chain Manager, a Manufacturing Manager, and Quality Leadership, while providing strategic oversight to approximately 350 employees globally.
  • Establishing and executing a long-term global operations strategy aligned with divisional growth objectives and business priorities.
  • Developing manufacturing objectives, operational plans, and performance metrics to drive operational excellence across multiple sites.
  • Optimizing on-time delivery, reducing backlog, increasing productivity, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Driving simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the global organization.
  • Leading global supply chain and procurement strategies to improve efficiency, cost performance, and business resilience.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance leadership to support enterprise-wide business objectives.
  • Implementing operational management systems, best practices, and performance frameworks across manufacturing facilities.
  • Promoting the exchange of best practices and establishing advanced operational standards across global locations.
  • Driving innovation through the implementation of new technologies, systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Leading global operational projects, including facility optimization, process improvement, and strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Developing high-performing teams and leadership succession plans in alignment with organizational talent strategies.
  • Managing operational performance, capital investments, and resource allocation to achieve sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Traveling globally to support operations, strategic initiatives, and leadership alignment across facilities.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience leading multi-site or global manufacturing operations with responsibility for supply chain, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading large organizations through operational transformation, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, lean principles, operational excellence methodologies, and supply chain management.
  • Experience managing senior-level leaders and large global teams in complex matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional strategic leadership, analytical, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally and effectively lead across diverse cultures and global locations.
