Job Description

  • Lead MEP coordination and commissioning efforts on a large data center project
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes from design through closeout
  • Manage MEP schedules, budgets, quality, and overall project performance
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, engineers, and trade partners
  • Review drawings and specifications for constructability and risk
  • Drive resolution of complex MEP field and design issues
  • Ensure QA/QC standards, testing, inspections, and compliance requirements are met
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, communication, and execution
  • Analyze project financials and support departmental goals
  • Improve processes, tools, and team performance through leadership
  • Mentor and develop MEP team members while building a strong team culture
  • Maintain jobsite safety as the top priority throughout the project lifecycle

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience
  • Proven experience leading MEP scopes on large, complex projects
  • Data center or mission critical project experience strongly preferred
  • Background in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning, QA/QC, testing, and turnover processes
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project risk
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and related construction technology tools
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor teams and drive accountability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute in a fast-paced field environment
  • High commitment to safety, integrity, and project excellence
