Job Description

As a DOB Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout
  • Ensure full compliance with NYC DOB regulations, inspections, and safety standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and daily site operations
  • Maintain project timeline, quality control, and budget adherence
  • Conduct site meetings, inspections, and reporting
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and site cleanliness

The Successful Applicant

A successful DOB Superintendent should have:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily projects
  • Active DOB License
  • Strong knowledge of NYC DOB codes, permits, and inspection processes
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and fast-paced construction schedules
  • OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
