Job Description

As a DOB Superintendent you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from excavation through turnover
  • Ensure full compliance with NYC DOB regulations and safety standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics
  • Manage project schedules, inspections, and quality control
  • Serve as primary on-site point of contact for stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed daily reports and site documentation

The Successful Applicant

A successful DOB Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on NYC ground-up residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of NYC DOB codes, permitting, and inspections
  • Experience with luxury/high-end residential construction preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • OSHA certifications required (30-hour minimum)
