Job Description

  • Lead and oversee multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building long-term relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to business development efforts.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, superintendents, and field teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, profitability, and risk management initiatives.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives throughout the Southern Virginia market, including Richmond, Norfolk, and surrounding regions.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to drive operational excellence and expand market presence.
  • Conduct regular site visits and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, project schedules, and company performance expectations.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive project leadership responsibilities.
  • Prior experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or comparable leadership position.
  • Strong background managing commercial construction projects, preferably within drywall, interiors, specialty contracting, or related scopes.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing teams and client relationships.
  • Experience with project financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Demonstrated business development skills and a history of generating repeat business and new opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Procore.
  • OSHA certifications or safety-focused training are a plus.
  • Ability to work from the Fredericksburg, VA office and travel to project sites throughout Southern Virginia.
