The DTCC Settlements Specialist role in Iselin, NJ is responsible for processing and reconciling equity, corporate bond, and fixed-income securities transactions through the DTCC system. They will be managing trade settlements, collateral pledges, claims processing, and cash movements while coordinating closely with front and middle office teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily settlement processes to ensure timely and accurate transaction completion.
  • Process securities through DTCC systems.
  • Settle securities transactions by processing deliver orders.
  • Pledge securities to OCC and collateral loan system.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in trade settlements and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor and report on settlement activities to maintain compliance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to DTCC regulations and industry best practices.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance settlement efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc projects related to settlements as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful DTCC Settlements professional should have:

  • Specific working knowledge of DTCC portal and all settlements functionality.
  • Knowledge of TMPG claims processing.
  • Product knowledge: corporate bonds and equities, some UST fixed income.
  • Trade processing, pair-offs, FIS phase 3 a PLUS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of banking and financial services industry standards.
