Job Description

  • Own site-level compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels
  • Lead behavior-based safety initiatives with a clear goal of zero incidents and zero deviations
  • Act as the local subject matter expert for EHS standards, policies, and best practices
  • Drive accountability and cultural change through leadership influence at all organizational levels
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Lead EHS audits, emergency action planning, and relationships with local authorities
  • Manage all internal and external EHS reporting and permitting requirements
  • Investigate incidents, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Conduct and oversee environmental and industrial hygiene sampling (air, noise, ergonomics, etc.)
  • Stay ahead of upcoming regulatory changes that may impact site operations

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to lead audits, investigations, and compliance programs
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing leaders and frontline teams
