Job Description

  • Serve as the on‑site Environmental, Health & Safety lead for a manufacturing facility
  • Spend the majority of time on the factory floor identifying hazards, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to implement safer processes
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local EHS regulations through practical application, not paperwork
  • Lead chemical safety, hazardous materials handling, and waste management programs
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Deliver EHS training and coaching to employees at all levels
  • Drive a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, ownership, and continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Hands‑on experience with chemicals, hazardous materials, and waste treatment programs
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Proven ability to work directly with operators and supervisors on process changes
  • Comfortable being visible, approachable, and embedded in daily operations
