Job Description

  • Engineer and design low-voltage power distribution systems, including UL 891 switchboards
  • Develop electrical schematics, equipment layouts, and detailed bills of materials
  • Apply and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards, including UL and NEC
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams during fabrication, testing, and final assembly
  • Provide technical support during inspections, including UL evaluations
  • Contribute engineering expertise to custom, project-specific solutions

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated experience with power distribution systems and associated equipment
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and UL standards
  • Proven experience with UL 891 switchboard design (required)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production-focused environment is preferred
