With a strong reputation for technical excellence, safety, and execution, they support projects across North America.Job DescriptionDevelop project design bases, engineering assumptions, design criteria, scope boundaries, and exclusions for project opportunities.Prepare conceptual engineering deliverables, including:Single-line diagramsEquipment layoutsBills of material (BOMs)Equipment specificationsTechnical datasheetsProcurement inquiry packagesSupport estimating activities through:Quantity takeoffsEquipment selectionLabor and productivity assumptionsSchedule development inputsTechnical clarificationsReview client requirements, specifications, drawings, and site information to identify:Technical risksScope gapsConstructability concernsDesign uncertaintiesCollaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subject matter experts to develop complete project definitions and estimate-ready packages.Apply engineering standards, company design practices, and established governance processes throughout project development.Participate in technical reviews, proposal development efforts, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.Document engineering assumptions, lessons learned, and continuous improvement opportunities.Support project handoff activities by providing complete and well-documented development packages for detailed engineering and execution teams.Perform additional duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
