It designs both its products and the specialised equipment used to manufacture them, supporting critical applications across a range of industrial markets.Job DescriptionIn this role you will report directly into the President and be responsible for:Leading the engineering team by setting priorities, assigning work, and ensuring timely project executionOverseeing the conceptualisation, prototyping, and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipmentGuiding the design, build, and commissioning of custom machinery supporting advanced manufacturing capabilitiesReviewing engineering drawings, tolerances, and documentation to ensure accuracy and manufacturabilityManaging multiple engineering projects concurrently while maintaining organisation and attention to detailDriving continuous improvement initiatives across processes, equipment, and workflowsCollaborating cross‑functionally with Operations, Production, Customer Service, and leadership teamsSupporting manufacturing by troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring smooth production operationsManaging vendors, sourcing activities, and procurement for engineering materials and equipmentPresenting engineering updates, analyses, and project status to internal stakeholdersMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
