Estimator - Civil Construction

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for civil construction components (earthwork, grading, drainage, paving, utilities, structures)
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness and competitiveness
• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final estimates based on project phase
• Identify risks, cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to validate assumptions and constructability
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing, and unit cost benchmarks
• Prepare bid packages and participate in bid review meetings
