Job Description

The Estimator will report to preconstruction leadership and play a critical role in supporting project pursuits, budget development, and overall preconstruction success.

  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimates.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and pricing.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs across all construction trades.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.
  • Develop comprehensive budgets and cost analyses for commercial construction projects.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative construction solutions.
  • Support bid submissions and project turnover to operations teams.

The Successful Applicant

For the Estimator role we are seeking:

  • 3+ years of estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor.
  • Experience estimating ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials.
  • Proven ability to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
  • Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
