Job Description

The Estimator will report directly to preconstruction leadership and play a key role in developing competitive bids and accurate budgets for commercial construction projects.

  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimates.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and pricing requirements.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs across all construction trades.
  • Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals.
  • Develop project budgets and cost models throughout the preconstruction process.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
  • Assist with bid submissions and project turnover to operations teams.

The Successful Applicant

For the Estimator role we are seeking:

  • 3+ years of estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor.
  • Experience estimating ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials.
  • Ability to review plans, specifications, and contract documents with precision.
  • Experience preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and bid packages.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
