Job Description

The Estimator will report into the Preconstruction Manager and play a key role in securing new work and supporting project success.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams for cost validation
  • Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
  • Assist in proposal preparation and client presentations
  • Maintain accurate cost databases and historical pricing

The Successful Applicant

For the Estimator role, we are seeking:

  • 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, take-offs, and pricing
  • Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or similar)
