Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to review project plans and specifications.
  • Analyze subcontractor bids and negotiate competitive pricing.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate and timely pricing information.
  • Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project budgets.
  • Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
  • Support contract negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns and justifications.
  • Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders as needed.
