Estimator - Construction - Manhattan is hiring for the building and construction industry in Manhattan.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to address project needs and expectations.
  • Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Track project budgets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cost databases and historical data for future projects.
  • Review and refine cost estimates as project scope and specifications evolve.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
