Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine materials and labor requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
  • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends.
  • Provide support during bid submissions and client presentations.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all estimates.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily construction estimating
  • Strong experience with ground-up construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience working across commercial sectors (education, municipal, retail, or mixed-use preferred)
  • Proficiency in estimating software and strong Excel capability
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Driven, ambitious mindset with a desire for career progression
