Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for data center construction projects.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends.
  • Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs.
  • Prepare and present cost analysis and bid proposals to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with the original estimate.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator - Data Center should have:

  • Experience with cost estimating in the construction industry, particularly in data center projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A strong understanding of construction materials and market pricing.
