Job Description

Reporting into preconstruction leadership, the Estimator will be responsible for driving the estimating process from initial concept through bid submission.

  • Prepare detailed estimates for ground-up commercial construction projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate pricing
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
  • Develop budgets, quantity takeoffs, and conceptual estimates
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
  • Partner with project management and operations teams during preconstruction
  • Support client presentations and bid submissions

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
  • Experience with ground-up projects required
  • Exposure to light industrial, tilt-wall, warehouse, distribution, or office construction preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction costs, scheduling, and sequencing
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Proficiency with industry estimating software and Microsoft Office
