Job Description

The Construction Lead Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Reporting directly to the Director of Estimating
  • Working hand-in-hand with the Project Management team
  • Generating conceptual, schematic, lump sum, GMP, design development, and other types of estimates
  • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with repeat/potential clients
  • Attend meetings and contribute to presentations

The Successful Applicant

The Estimator Heathcare/Academic projects will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimating, specifically leading Healthcare or Academic construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and academic construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project, on-screen takeoff).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts, risk management, and legal requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.
