Job Description

Prepare Accurate Estimates: Develop detailed cost estimates for multifamily renovation projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Bid Management: Review project plans, solicit bids from subcontractors/suppliers, and prepare competitive proposals.
Scope Review & Value Engineering: Analyze project scopes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose value-driven alternatives.
Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
Risk Assessment & Scheduling: Identify potential risks, provide input on project timelines, and recommend strategies to mitigate cost overruns.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough records and deliver clear estimate reports for internal and client use.
Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain competitive pricing.

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of construction experience
Seeking expertise within the renovations sector - preferably multifamily
Excellent client management and presentation skills
Exceptional communication skills - Someone who listens first
Positive attitude - someone who would describe themselves as upbeat and can bring energy into the room that is contagious!
Technically proficient and able to learn new programs
