Job Description

    • Prepare detailed estimates and takeoffs for NYC public sector projects, including ground‑up construction.
    • Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents across agencies like SCA, DDC, EDC, NYCHA, and corrections.
    • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids.
    • Develop pricing strategies and support competitive bid submissions.
    • Collaborate with preconstruction and project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

    • 7-15 years of estimating experience on NYC public works projects.
    • Proven involvement with agency work including SCA, DDC, EDC, NYCHA, or jails.
    • Background with reputable GCs/CMs strongly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of large‑scale ground‑up construction.
    • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and confident working in fast‑paced bid environments.
