Luxury retail location seeks Director of Accounting to join their new, exciting venture on Long Island!

The Controller would oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance within a construction and real estate environment. They would also strengthen internal controls, monitor project financials, and provide leadership with insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

The Project Accountant supports construction projects by managing budgets, tracking costs, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring accurate billing and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. This role partners closely with project managers and operations teams to maintain financial controls, ensure contract compliance, and drive timely, informed decision-making.

The Insurance Accountant is responsible for accounting, analysis, and reporting related to construction‑focused insurance programs. This role partners closely with corporate accounting, project accounting, and risk management to ensure insurance costs, accruals, claims, and audit adjustments are accurately reflected across projects and legal entities.

The Construction Controller will oversee financial operations and reporting for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

MUST BE ON SITE 5x PER WEEK.

This is an exciting, newly-created position for our client in construction. The Director of Payroll & Benefits is a high-visibility role responsible for overseeing payroll while owning benefits, 401k, and all employee-related questions tied to pay, leave, and eligibility. You'll act as the go-to expert internally, working closely with leadership to bring structure to a function that currently sits within accounting.This role is full-time on-site. Union experience is required.
