Job Description

The Project Accountant will

  • Maintain and monitor project budgets, including setup, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Prepare and process monthly billings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms
  • Manage cost reporting, including labor, subcontractor, materials, and general conditions
  • Support project managers with financial insights to drive informed operational decisions
  • Review and process subcontractor invoices and change orders
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including accruals and revenue recognition
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to support overall project financial health
