Estimator - Waltham MA - Commercial Construction

The Construction Estimator is responsible for:

• Preparing accurate quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for ground‑up and tenant improvement projects.
• Developing and assembling detailed bid packages, including subcontractor scope reviews and comparisons.
• Analyzing construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify risks and cost drivers.
• Assisting with conceptual budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction planning.
• Supporting proposal development and participating in bid review and award meetings.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, superintendents, and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
• Maintaining organized estimating files, historical cost data, and bid documentation.
• Assisting with change order pricing, scope clarifications, and cost reconciliation as needed.
• Utilizing Excel for bid leveling, estimate summaries, and cost tracking (no advanced modeling required).
• Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and best practices.
