With a steady pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, they offer a stable environment with opportunities for advancement.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related systems on commercial construction projectsReview drawings, specifications, and bid documents to scope and quantify work accuratelySolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals, ensuring complete and competitive pricingPerform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using estimating software and ExcelIdentify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategiesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and business development teams during preconstructionAttend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations as neededMaintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure strong bid coverageSupport post-bid activities, including clarification of scope and turnover to operations teamsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
