Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
  • Review project drawings, contracts, and bid documents.
  • Obtain and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing.
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
  • Support value engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure successful project handoff.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and bid strategy discussions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

  • Experience estimating heavy civil construction projects.
  • Background in site development, excavation, utilities, roads, highways, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
