Job Description

The Field Engineer / Assistant Superintendent - Mission Critical - NoVA will:

  • Assist with on‑site project execution, coordination, and daily field operations
  • Support the superintendent with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
  • Help manage interior fit‑out projects in occupied, secure, and operational environments
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and close‑out activities
  • Maintain clear communication with project teams, subcontractors, and internal leadership
  • Ensure jobsite safety standards and compliance requirements are consistently met

The Successful Applicant

The Field Engineer / Assistant Superintendent - Mission Critical - NoVA will have:

  • 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction or interior fit‑out projects
  • Exposure to high‑end interiors such as office, healthcare, government, higher education, or technology spaces
  • Ability to manage or assist with one primary project at a time, with occasional smaller projects
  • Willingness and ability to obtain security badging, including background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset
