The Field Engineer - DDC Construction will oversee public works projects, primarily within the DDC/MTA space. The Field Engineer will support construction projects in the property industry, ensuring efficient coordination and on-site management. This role is based in Astoria and requires strong organizational and communication skills to assist in delivering successful project outcomes. This role will be located in Queens, NY but will support porjects across NYC metro area.

Our client is a public works general contractor located in Queens, NY and is hiring a Field Engineer - DDC Construction due to growth and strong pipeline. Our client is a well established general contractor and is hiring to add to their collective team after winning numerous projects recently. The project size that the Field Engineer - DDC Construction will run is $5M to $150M

Job Description

  • Coordinate daily on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Assist in managing subcontractors and maintaining safety standards on-site.
  • Support project documentation, including schedules, reports, and logs.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Monitor construction progress and identify potential issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
  • Assist in managing materials, equipment, and resources on-site.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
