Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly/quarterly NAV calculations and financial statements
  • Maintain general ledger activities for assigned funds, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with third-party administrators, auditors, and custodians
  • Assist with investor reporting and capital activity (capital calls, distributions)
  • Support audit processes and respond to audit requests
  • Monitor fund cash activity and investment transactions
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-5 years of fund accounting or relevant financial services experience
  • Knowledge of alternative investments (private equity, hedge funds, or real assets preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with fund accounting systems or Excel-based modeling
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
