Job Description

The General Manager - Regulated Manufacturing reports to senior executive leadership and has overall responsibility for site operations, financial performance, compliance, and team development.

  • Develop and execute the site's strategic and operational plans to support business growth and performance objectives
  • Lead manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and support functions to achieve operational excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement, productivity, and process optimization initiatives across the site
  • Ensure all regulatory, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained
  • Manage site budgets, capital investment projects, and overall financial performance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support new product introductions, innovation, and capability expansion
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability and engagement

The Successful Applicant

For the General Manager - Regulated Manufacturing we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
  • Significant experience leading regulated manufacturing operations within pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, chemicals, food production, or similarly complex environments
  • Proven experience managing multi-functional teams and site-wide operations
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated profit and loss responsibility and budget management experience
  • Track record of leading organizational change, infrastructure development, and business transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • A hands-on leader with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive measurable results
