Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day oversight of ground-up commercial and multifamily construction projects
  • Support project lifecycle activities including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout
  • Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure timely project progression
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and ownership teams to maintain project alignment
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting through platforms such as Procore (or similar systems)
  • Participate in job site meetings and assist with ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify and help resolve potential risks or delays

The Successful Applicant

A successful Ground Up Private APM should have:

  • 3-6+ years of experience in construction project management or assistant project management
  • Hands-on experience supporting ground-up construction projects in the commercial and/or multifamily sectors required
  • Strong familiarity with construction processes including submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Proficiency with project management software; Procore experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
