Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulations on-site.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
  • Communicate project progress and address any issues with stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control throughout all phases of construction.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, schedules, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers to resolve any on-site challenges.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Ground Up Superintendent should have:

  • Experience managing ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems in a busy environment.
