Job Description

The Head of Finance will report directly to senior leadership and serve as a trusted business partner across the organization. This position will lead financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making while supporting broader business objectives.

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Drive financial modeling, scenario planning, capital investment analysis, and business case development.
  • Lead audit activities, risk management initiatives, and financial controls to ensure transparency and accuracy.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence, valuation assessments, and integration planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

For the Head of Finance we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
  • Progressive finance leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Strong expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, audit management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience building complex financial models and supporting investment and capital allocation decisions.
  • Experience evaluating and supporting mergers and acquisitions initiatives.
  • Knowledge of corporate tax accounting and tax planning strategies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise resource planning systems and financial reporting platforms.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead process improvement and systems implementation initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to executive audiences.
  • A collaborative leadership style focused on developing teams and driving continuous improvement.
