Job Description

  • Lead preconstruction efforts on healthcare projects from initial concept through GMP
  • Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering proposals
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, and consultants to align scope and expectations
  • Manage the bid process, including subcontractor outreach and evaluation
  • Provide constructability analysis and risk identification
  • Support business development efforts and client presentations
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless project handover

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in preconstruction or estimating within a general contractor environment
  • Strong background in healthcare construction projects (hospital, medical facilities, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with estimating software and construction tools (e.g., Procore or similar preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
