Job Description

Responsibilities of a Healthcare Construction Project Manager are:

  • Manage planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution of healthcare construction projects
  • Serve as the main point of contact between owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards including ICRA, AHCA, Joint Commission, and NFPA
  • Lead project meetings, track milestones, and oversee document control and reporting
  • Monitor financial performance, risk management, change orders, and project deliverables
  • Coordinate MEP systems integration and specialized medical infrastructure requirements

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Healthcare Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a focus on healthcare facilities
  • Strong knowledge of construction means/methods, permitting, and regulatory processes specific to medical environments
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project)
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, tight schedules, and high-performance expectations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
