The HR team is viewed as a strategic business partner, and this role offers the opportunity to work directly with plant leadership to influence culture, talent strategy, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness across a highly visible site.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:Serve as the primary HR partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning.Coach and influence managers on performance issues, difficult employee conversations, development planning, and organizational effectiveness.Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.Partner with leaders to navigate organizational change and support business transformation initiatives.Drive talent management activities, including succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention strategies.Collaborate with hiring managers, staffing partners, and internal talent acquisition teams to support hiring and onboarding efforts.Analyze workforce metrics and HR data to identify trends, provide insights, and support business decision-making.Support the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Act as a highly visible business partner, building strong relationships and credibility across all levels of the organization.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
