About Our Client

The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR support for multiple offices and project sites, partnering closely with regional leadership and field operations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for employee relations, investigations, recruiting support, performance management, policy administration, and workforce engagement initiatives.

This role requires regular travel between office and project locations. Travel schedules can be flexible but should support strong field presence and relationship-building across the region.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for multiple offices and project locations.
  • Build trusted relationships with operational and executive leadership teams.
  • Lead employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance-related issues.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices across all supported locations.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee issues, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support recruiting initiatives, including campus and college recruiting efforts.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and HR policy interpretation.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent development, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Oversee and mentor HR team members while helping establish consistency across HR operations.
  • Participate in job-site visits and maintain a strong field presence to support employees and managers.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Human Resources Manager should have:

Required

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple locations and business leaders simultaneously.
  • Experience working autonomously with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region.



Preferred

  • Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or other project-based environments.
  • Experience supporting both office and field-based employees.
  • Familiarity with college recruiting and workforce development programs.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring HR staff.
