The Project Manager will support the execution of industrial and large-scale commercial projects from preconstruction through completion. While carrying a Project Manager title, this position is ideally suited for a high-performing Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager looking to accelerate their growth within a nationally recognized design-build contractor.

Job Description

  • Assist in managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Support budgeting, estimating, procurement, and scheduling efforts
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Track project financials and assist with forecasting
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing coordination, and change orders
  • Participate in client meetings and project presentations
  • Support project buyout and contract administration activities
  • Work closely with Superintendents to ensure successful project execution
  • Monitor project schedules and assist in maintaining key milestones
  • Develop client relationships and support business development efforts

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-7 years of construction experience
  • Ideal experience range: 2-4 years
  • Experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager
  • Industrial construction experience strongly preferred
  • Large-scale commercial construction experience will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Stable work history and strong career progression
  • Desire to grow within a long-term, leadership-oriented organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
