We are seeking an experienced Production & Maintenance Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations for a well-established industrial organisation in Andrews, SC. This leadership position is responsible for managing production and maintenance teams, ensuring equipment reliability, coordinating plant projects, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop production and maintenance personnel to achieve operational goals.
  • Manage production scheduling, work orders, and preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Ensure equipment uptime, reliability, and maintenance compliance.
  • Serve as the lead project manager for capital improvement and maintenance-related projects.
  • Coordinate contractors, construction activities, and plant improvement initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, equipment, and project records.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support business objectives and operational performance.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience overseeing production and/or maintenance operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning processes.
  • Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, preventative maintenance programmes, and equipment reliability.
  • Hands-on understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Project management experience involving facility, equipment, or capital improvement projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
