Job Description

  • Manage all interior construction activities from drywall through final turnover for high-rise multifamily projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors including drywall, painting, flooring, millwork, doors/hardware, specialties, and MEP finishes.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure interior milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure all work meets project specifications, building codes, and company standards.
  • Conduct daily site walks and identify potential schedule, quality, or safety issues.
  • Coordinate inspections with local municipalities, third-party inspectors, and design teams.
  • Manage punch lists, deficiency tracking, and unit turnover processes.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Assistant Superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve field issues.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications and communicate requirements to field teams.
  • Monitor manpower levels and production rates to ensure schedule compliance.
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain clear communication among all project stakeholders.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies across all interior work areas.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation sequencing of finish materials and fixtures.
  • Assist with project closeout activities including final inspections, owner walkthroughs, and turnover documentation.
  • Maintain detailed daily reports documenting progress, manpower, safety observations, and key project activities.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily, mixed-use, condominium, or high-rise construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of interior finishes, unit turnover processes, and multifamily construction sequencing.
  • Experience managing multiple floors and trade partners simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite safety best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.



Preferred Experience

  • High-rise residential projects exceeding 150 units.
  • Luxury multifamily, condominium, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
  • Experience managing interiors through TCO, CO, and final project completion.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
