Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site construction activities for interior build-outs from mobilization through turnover
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to maintain project schedule and workflow
  • Maintain high standards for quality control, ensuring work aligns with drawings and specifications
  • Lead daily site operations including scheduling, sequencing, and logistics in active/occupied environments
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized site
  • Conduct regular jobsite meetings with subcontractors and project teams
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers on schedule updates, RFIs, change orders, and project reporting
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues to avoid delays or cost overruns
  • Ensure timely completion of punch lists, inspections, and final closeout

The Successful Applicant

  • 7-8+ years of construction experience, with a focus on commercial interiors
  • Proven experience working with a smaller general contractor, demonstrating full project ownership in the field
  • Strong background in restaurant, office, and/or medical build-outs
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced interior schedules
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, finishes, and sequencing for interior scopes
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
