Job Description

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for property construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to ensure accurate calculations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Support the identification of cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
  • Assist in preparing bid proposals and tender documents.
  • Track project costs and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Estimator should have:

  • A strong interest in the property and construction industry.
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A degree or coursework in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
